Maternity sessions in Clyde North

We are a short drive away in Beaconsfield, and we come to you. For a home session we look for the biggest window in the house, move a chair or two, and let the daylight do the work. You are in your own space, with your own snacks, and you can put your feet up between outfits.

If you would rather head outside, Clyde North has wetlands with flat paths, which is a gift at 35 weeks. We keep walking to a minimum and choose a few spots close together, so you spend more time being photographed and less time getting there.

What a Clyde North session can look like:

Home sessions suit new, light-filled houses especially well. We only need one or two rooms.
Outdoor options nearby have flat paths, so you are not climbing hills in a long dress.

Home, studio or the wetlands?

For Clyde North we often suggest home for maternity if you have a bright living room, because it saves you the drive and gives the photos a personal feel. The wetlands are a lovely second choice for a natural, outdoorsy look, especially near sunset.

The studio in Beaconsfield is always there as an option if you prefer a classic, simple background or the weather is unsettled.

Booking and delivery

Securing your date: we talk through the plan, then a 10% retainer holds the date for you.

Included: 20 to 30 edited photos and a 30-second film.

When you see them: a sneak peek within 2 days, then your complete gallery within 14 days.

When to book

Maternity: 34 to 36 weeks is the window we plan for. The bump is clearly there and you are usually still comfortable walking and changing outfits. Get in touch in your second trimester so we can hold a date for you, especially if you have a particular late-afternoon in mind.

Newborn: if you would like newborn photos too, mention it at the same time. Newborn sessions work best in the first 5 to 14 days, and we like to hear from you at around 20 to 30 weeks so we can hold a window around your due date.

With Clyde North being a short drive from the studio, we can usually offer both weekday and late-afternoon times for outdoor sessions.

Around Clyde North

The City of Casey wetlands along Linsell Boulevard have flat paved and crushed-rock paths winding through reed beds. Reeds catch the late light nicely and make soft, natural frames around you.

Cascades on Clyde Wetlands nearby has boardwalks over the water. Boardwalks give natural leading lines, and they are easy underfoot.

We list these as local places families might consider, not as past shoots. Dogs need to be on a lead on the shared tracks, so let us know if your four-legged family member is coming.

Frequently asked questions

Is my house suitable for a home session?

Almost certainly. We need one spot with decent window light and a little floor space. There is no need to tidy the whole house.

Are the wetlands busy?

They are shared paths used by walkers and dog owners, so we pick quieter times of day and spots slightly off the main track.

Can my partner and children be in the photos?

Yes. Partner and sibling photos are included, and we plan a few frames of the whole family alongside your solo portraits.

Is the studio accessible?

Yes. Our Beaconsfield studio is accessible for people with physical disabilities. If anyone in your group has access needs, tell us when you enquire and we will plan around them.
