Bayside & Melbourne City Pre-Wedding Shoot | Ravi & Rav

Bayside & Melbourne City Pre-Wedding Shoot | Ravi & Rav

There is a distinct, undeniable energy around two people who are madly and deeply in love. For Ravi and Rav, that magnetic connection was front and centre during their pre-wedding shoot. As a vibrant Punjabi couple, they brought an incredible mix of elegance, cultural pride and raw emotion to the session.

We took them on a visual journey through some of the region’s most striking backdrops, capturing their romance across the serene Bayside coastline and the dynamic heart of the Melbourne city area. If you are planning a pre-wedding shoot in Melbourne, here is how their day unfolded.

Two Locations for One Epic Romance

To reflect the beautiful, dynamic nature of Ravi and Rav’s relationship, we split their session across two contrasting yet equally stunning environments.

The Bayside Coastline

We spent the first half of the shoot using the calm, sweeping views of the water. The natural coastal light complemented their vibrant outfits and gave us the perfect setting for quiet, romantic and deeply intimate portraits.

The Melbourne City Area

As the day progressed, we moved into the urban landscape of the city. The striking architecture, busy streets and modern aesthetic provided an edgy, cinematic contrast to the peaceful beach, perfectly matching the couple’s high-energy, fun-loving personalities.

A Complete Visual Story of Their Journey

A pre-wedding shoot is the perfect chance for a couple to celebrate their bond before the beautiful chaos of the wedding day begins. So that Ravi and Rav had a generous collection of memories to share with their families and display at their upcoming wedding, we delivered a tailored media package:

  • 120 professionally edited photos: a high-resolution gallery featuring dramatic architectural shots, soft coastal portraits and the candid, infectious laughter they shared throughout the day.
  • A 1.5-minute cinematic highlight video: a beautifully paced, emotional short film that captures their deep connection and brings their Bayside and city adventures to life, perfect for social media and their wedding reception.

Working with couples like Ravi and Rav reminds us why we love what we do. Their willingness to embrace both the romantic coastal breeze and the vibrant city pulse allowed us to create a truly spectacular pre-wedding gallery. We are thrilled to have documented this chapter of their Punjabi love story and cannot wait to see what the future holds for them.

Making the Most of Your Pre-Wedding Shoot

A few simple ideas can help your own session feel relaxed and look polished:

  • Choose locations that reflect your personalities. A contrast, such as coast and city, gives your gallery variety.
  • Pick outfits you feel comfortable moving in, and consider a second look for a change of mood.
  • Plan around the light. Softer light earlier or later in the day is generally the most flattering.
  • Decide how you would like to use the photos and film, such as a welcome display, save-the-dates or social media, so we can capture the right formats.
